Today, on the 125th anniversary of its existence, the Society has 345 vowed sisters, 4 novices and 8 trainees . Sisters work in 63 monasteries and communities located in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and beyond the borders of the homeland as far away as Haiti.
The sisters live and witness their mission in 15 homes for the elderly and infirm, in 8 kindergartens, in 3 homes for children with special needs and one home for children without parental care.
The handmaids of the Little Jesus follow the example of Jesus' mercy, which shows the love of the Father in forgiveness and in caring for the sad, the poor and the abandoned. With the gift of service, which they received from the Holy Spirit, following the example of Jesus, they still serve his smallest brothers and in them they serve the Baby Jesus himself.
