FTP ( File Transfer Protocol ) is a protocol used to exchange data between computers located on a network. FTP has a significant application on servers because it enables a very simple exchange of data between the computer and the server.
To connect to the server via FTP, we would recommend the free FTP client FileZilla , which you can download on the filezilla-project.org page.
In order to log in to your server via the FTP protocol, the following data must be entered in the FTP client:
- Server (Host) - enter the name of your domain or the IP address of the server
- Username - your username
- Password - your password to connect to the server
- Port - enter port number 4433
- Click on Connect
